The family, originally from Honduras, has been reunited in Miami, having arrived separately. As thousands of Central American children have come across the Southwest border these past months, this family found each other again. To the editor:
I find it interesting that almost every letter written to the editor regarding the mass influx on the southern border of the United States seems to conveniently leave out the word “illegal.”
Are the liberals who write most of these letters aware that we, as a country, have laws, rules and regulations for a reason? We have them like every other country does, but for some reason, America is always the bad guy when we actually enforce our laws.
I’d like to know just how many illegal immigrants most of these liberals would like us to take in from Third World countries. All of them? Just because many of these illegal immigrants are under the age of 18 doesn’t mean they’re not still here illegally.
So many liberals seem to live in this make-believe little utopia where all that matters is how it makes them feel — and not the results.
