South Hadley boys tennis closes season with win over Ludlow

The South Hadley boys tennis team finished its season with a 4-1 win over Ludlow on Tuesday.

Mikey Miele and James Stawarz pulled out three-set victories in singles to held the Tigers (6-12) hold off the Lions at Mount Holyoke College.

Miele beat Ian Dansereau 6-1, 5-7, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.

Stawarz beat Adam Goncalves 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 at second singles.

First singles: Mikey Miele (SH) def. Ian Dansereau 6-1, 5-7, 6-4

Second singles: James Stawarz (SH) def. Adam Goncalves 6-3, 5-7, 6-2

Third singles: Dante Pio (SH) def. Nate Quiterio 6-0, 6-0

First doubles: Chris Larrow and Bobby Loughrey (SH) def. Cameron Labelle and Brenden Nowakowski 7-5, 6-4

Second doubles: Ludlow won by default
