Hampshire Regional High School to destroy some student records

WESTHAMPTON — Hampshire Regional High School’s special education department is preparing to destroy student records for students born on or before Sept. 1, 1998.

Requests from former HRHS students who want to pick up their records can be made in writing before Sept. 1 to Taffy Bassett-Fox, Hampshire Regional School District, 19 State Road, Westhampton, MA 01027.

Records will be destroyed after Sept. 1 in accordance with state law. Permanent student records must be kept for 60 years after a student transfers or graduates.
