Tuesday’s high schools: Northampton girls lacrosse rolls past Holyoke Catholic
Ten different players registered at least one point for the Northampton girls lacrosse team in a 12-5 victory over Holyoke Catholic in Chicopee on Tuesday afternoon.
Emily Allcroft had four goals, while Molly King (three assists), Missie Maiewski and Hunter Zackaricz each had two goals for the Blue Devils (5-4).
Shannon Keefe and Sophie Melcher each had one goal, while Haley Subocz, Grace Goodwin-Boyd, Leila Kouakou and Emily Biggs each had one assist.
Bridget Harrington and Dana Dufour combined for six saves in the win.
Elizabeth Klejna and Elizabeth Cavanaugh each had two goals, while Taylor Leclair had one for the Gaels.
Michelle LaFlamme had one assist and Katie Klejna made four saves in goal.
Agawam 21, South Hadley 13 — The Tigers (4-5, 2-4 Valley Wheel) fell into an eight-goal deficit by halftime and couldn’t recover in the home loss.
Maddie Brandts and Kelly Pouliot each had two goals and two assists for South Hadley, while Brooke Marion (goal, three assists) also posted four points.
Meg Ginley (assist), Sienna Hebert and Kara Callahan scored twice apiece, with Claudia Menard and Olivia Slysz adding a goal each.
Beth Hennessey made nine saves in the loss.
East Longmeadow 15, Belchertown 8 — Alex Wordsworth (three goals), Matt Parent (three goals) and Jordan Auffrey (two goals, assist) each put up three points, but the Orioles (4-6, 2-3 Valley League) suffered the home loss.
Travis Greeley stopped seven shots in goal for Belchertown.
Amherst Regional 15, Needham 10 — Johann Becker scored five goals as the Hurricanes (14-0) remained perfect against high school competition with the home win.
Elliot Jerry had three assists and two goals for Amherst, while Tom Bobrowsky added four assists.
