Eric John Nawotny, 27, of 256 Jackson St., was convicted in 2005 of indecent assault and battery and rape of a child by force and was sentenced to two to four years in prison.

Nawotny, who lists a second address as the streets of Turners Falls, is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair and weighing about 170 pounds.

He is not wanted by police. Police are required by law to notify the community of all registered Level 3 sex offenders living or working in town.

Level 3 sex offender classification means the individual is determined by the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board to have a high risk of re-offending.
