Florence Savings Bank promotes officers

Shelley M. Daughdrill of Easthampton is now vice president and branch manger for the bank’s Amherst office. Daughdrill joined Florence Savings Bank in December 2005. She is a graduate of Westfield State College and the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College. Daughdrill is a member of the Rotary Club of Amherst and the Highland Valley Elder Services Financial Exploitation Audit Team. She also volunteers for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

Kristen M. Adams of Westfield is now assistant vice president of marketing. She joined the bank in 2011. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and the inaugural class of Leadership Pioneer Valley.

Angela M. Moorhouse of Ludlow is now vice president and virtual branch manager. Moorhouse has 25 years of banking experience, and previously worked for TD Bank.

Greenfield Savings Bank plans nonprofit donations

As part of the celebration, the bank will make five $1,000 donations to Northampton nonprofits. It is asking the public to select the recipients.

Nominations will be accepted through the Greenfield Savings Bank Facebook page through Jan. 11. People can vote at the new branch starting Jan. 14. Contest rules are available at www.greenfieldsavings.com.

Side Street Cafe
sets new hours

The cafe’s new hours will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Saturday. The menu will vary daily, but will continue to features dishes made with ingredients provided by local farmers and vendors, Shannon said in a press release.

Side Street Cafe, at 42 Maple St. in Florence, opened in 2006.
