Monday’s golf: Belchertown qualifies for postseason
The Belchertown golf team clinched a Western Massachusetts Division 2 tournament berth with a 285-371 victory over Pathfinder at Cold Spring Country Club on Monday afternoon.
Jason Krasinkiewicz and Carl Teschke both shot a 44 to lead the Orioles (5-11), who qualified based on a 2-1 record against other Division 2 competition. Belchertown plays mainly a Division 1 schedule.
The Orioles came in second place to Granby in last year’s sectional tournament.
