HADLEY — Two lanes on Route 9 in the area of the Country Nissan dealership were closed for about 45 minutes Wednesday morning following a three-vehicle accident.
Hadley Police Officer John Robitaille said a box truck and two other vehicles collided near 40 Russell St. at 7:25 a.m.
One person suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Robitaille said.
The box truck leaked fluids onto the road and a Hadley Department of Public Works sander responded, Robitaille said.
The box truck and a second vehicle were both towed, while the third vehicle, driven by an employee at the dealership, was moved into its parking lot.
Robitaille said there were minor delays during the cleanup of the crash, but police were able to keep one lane open in both directions.
