∎ Evan Ralph, 22, of Colts Neck, N.J., was arrested Wednesday at 12:30 a.m. on Northampton Road on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol after the vehicle he was driving went off the road at Lincoln Avenue and Northampton Road and struck a street sign at the end of Hazel Avenue, police said.
∎ Jacob J. Bell, 23, of Athol, was arrested Sunday at 1:41 a.m. on Northampton Road on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay within marked lanes after the vehicle he was driving nearly struck a police officer at the scene of an earlier motor vehicle stop, police said.
∎ Robert William Auffinger, 36, who provided an address as the streets of Amherst, was arrested Saturday at 8:06 p.m. in an East Pleasant Street parking lot on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
∎ A vehicle driven by Nicole J. Labbe, 26, of West Springfield, was traveling through the Big Y supermarket parking lot on University Drive Saturday at 2:14 p.m. when it struck a shopping carriage being pushed by John Grist Jr., 84, of 24 Greenleaves Drive, unit 408, police said.
Grist fell to the ground and was transported by Amherst Fire Department ambulance to Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton for treatment, police said.
∎ Cuong T. Ly, 25, of 43 Hadley Road, unit 93, Sunderland, was arrested on a warrant Saturday at 4:36 a.m. at Cathedral Apartments, 308 North Pleasant St.
∎ Jyhoa Chea, 27, of 551 Amherst Road, Granby, and Jyhong Chea, 28, of 266 East Hadley Road, unit 105D, were arrested Friday at 8:52 p.m. at Southpoint Apartments on warrants.
∎ Todd A. Bristol, 22, of 2 Lithia Springs Road, South Hadley, was arrested Saturday at 1:14 a.m. on Main Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol (second offense).
∎ Two people were injured in an accident on Northampton Street Monday at 5:30 p.m. Christine Sullivan, 40, of 182 Northampton St., and the passenger in her car, Dustin Olander, 41, of Searle Avenue, were taken to Cooley Dickinson Hospital, where they were treated and released. Sullivan was traveling north when she stopped to turn left into her apartment complex and was struck from behind by a car driven by Mia Bella Chartand, 37, of 26 Bates St., Northampton, police said.
∎ Police received a report Monday at 1:30 p.m. that a home at 3 Orchard St. had been broken into and prescription medication was missing.
∎ Kyle T. Richard, 21, of 170 Main St., Haydenville, will be summoned to court after police said he drove his car over a curb and through a hedge into the Main Street Cemetery about 4:20 am. Sunday. He will face charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, two counts of marked lanes violations, and failure to use care in stopping and speeding.
∎ Michael P. Morrison, 43, of 9 Water Lane, apt. A, was arrested at home Saturday at 7:26 p.m. on a charge of domestic assault and battery after he allegedly punched his brother in the head.
∎ Larry G. Cooper, 45, of 51 Emerald Place, was arrested at the Public Safety Complex Saturday at 2:48 p.m. on charges he violated an abuse prevention order.
∎ Stephen M. Murphy, 20, of 35 Willow St., Florence, was arrested on Arlington Street Friday at 8:46 p.m. on a warrant.
∎ Police investigated a reported theft at CVS pharmacy on Northampton Street Friday at 11:22 a.m. A clerk reported seeing a man between 30 to 40 years old take a television and a gaming system from the store and leave in a dark SUV. Easthampton police did not locate him.
∎ Roberto Moya, 25, of Springfield, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after allegedly stealing a car battery and two belts with an estimated worth of $139 from Wal-Mart at 6:45 p.m. Monday.
∎ James G. Marciano, 34, of Springfield, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. on a shoplifting charge on Nov. 16 after allegedly stealing a surround sound system valued at $189 from Sears on Russell Street.
∎ Robert M. Jones Jr., 33, of Wilbraham, was arrested at 12:52 a.m. Wednesday on Conz Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.
∎ Jose Padilla, 19, of 30 Gatehouse Road, apt. 105, Amherst, was arrested at 12:46 a.m. Wednesday at Bridge Road and Chestnut Street on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
∎ Shanon Lee Moret, 19, of 12 Maple St., Hatfield, was arrested at 8:39 p.m. Tuesday at Moser Street and Musante Drive on a charge of possession of a class A drug (heroin).
∎ An Old South Street resident reported Tuesday afternoon that two guitars valued at a $1,200 were stolen from his unlocked apartment Nov. 13. There are no suspects.
∎ James Edward Freund, 59, whose address is listed as the streets of Northampton, was arrested at 1:42 p.m. Tuesday on Main Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. Freund allegedly was uncooperative and verbally abusive to officers who were responding to a report that Freund had kicked someone in the stomach.
∎ Christopher Fiato, 22, of Pleasant Street, Easthampton, was arrested a 6:27 p.m. Monday on South Street on charges of shoplifting. Police said Fiato stole a $50 DVD from Newbury Comics on Pleasant Street.
∎ Michael C. Rosa, 31, of Hampton Avenue, was arrested at 5:20 p.m. Monday on a charge of domestic assault and battery. Police said Rosa punched his father in the face during an argument at Rosa’s home.
∎ Jesse S. Camp, 23, of 215 Lovefield St., apt. A, was arrested about 12:17 a.m. Monday at South Street and Hebert Avenue on a Northampton District Court warrant.
∎ Christopher Neil Harman, 26, of Westfield, was arrested about 10:29 p.m. Sunday on Main Street on charges of disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest. According to police, Harman ran from and fought officers when he was approached by them while responding to a report that he was yelling profanities.
∎ Sean Lawrence Gibbons, 18, of Marblehead, Jonathan Michael Obanhein, 18, of Stockbridge, and Sawyer Mark Stewart, 18, of Great Barrington, were arrested Sunday at 2:11 a.m. in Lot 32W off Massachusetts Avenue on charges of disorderly conduct. Gibbons also faces a charge of resisting arrest.
