Darlene and James Beresford of Easthampton announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Lyn Rubeck of Easthampton, to Frank Soleimani of Westfield. Soleimani is the son of Hans Soleimani and Soussan Saket of Westfield.

Rubeck is a nurse at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. A 2002 graduate of Easthampton High School, she received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Our Lady of the Elms College, Chicopee, in 2006.

Soleimani is a police officer with the Westfield Police Department. A 2001 graduate of Westfield High School, he received an associate’s degree in biology from Holyoke Community College in 2005.

A May 2013 wedding is planned.
