Emily Auerhaan Frant and Cedric Deon Dodd, of Atlanta, Ga., were married Sept. 7 at The Night Kitchen in Montague. Nina R. Frant, a cousin of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Paula and Roger Frant of Amherst. The groom is the son of Brenda and Herb Ballard of Smyrna, Ga., and Lucius and Cynthia Dodd of Marietta, Ga.
The maid of honor was Loren R. Frant, and Twain Carter was the best man. A reception was held at The Night Kitchen.
The bride, 35, is a public health analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. A 1996 graduate of Amherst Regional High School, she graduated from Wheaton College in Norton in 2000, and from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Decatur, Ga., in 2010.
The groom, 39, is a quality assurance complaint analyst at GF Health Productions Inc., in Atlanta. He is a 1992 graduate of Campbell High School in Smyrna, Ga., and a 1997 graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens.
