UMass Multicultural Film Festival: The Particulars
The upcoming screening schedule is as follows (Unless otherwise noted, screenings take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Isenberg School of Management Flavin Family Auditiorium on the UMass campus.)
Wednesday: “The Wild Ones
March 13: “Shun Li and the Poet” (“Io sono Li”), Chinese and Italian, with English subtitles. The director, Andrea Segre, will be present for a Q & A.
March 27: “Kids of Survival: The Art and Life of Tim Rollins & K.O.S.” Rollins will be present for a Q & A.
April 13: “Disruption” (“Punto de quiebre”), directed by Academy Award-winning UMass alumna Pamela Yates. In Spanish and Portuguese with English subtitles.
April 10: “Numbered” (“Sfurim”), in Hebrew with English subtitles, screening with “Jerusalem E.R.” (“Yerushalayim E.R.”), in Hebrew and Arabic with English subtitles
April 17: 7:30 p.m., in the Kligerman-Greenspun Performance Hall at the Yiddish Book Center on the Hampshire College campus, “Two Who Dared: The Sharps’ War,” in English, screening with “Yom Hashoah,” in English
April 24: 7:30 p.m. Amherst Cinema, 28 Amity St., Amherst, “Barbara,” in German with English subtitles
April 25: There will be a colloquium: “What’s European About European Cinema?,” from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in room 301 of Herter Hall on the UMass campus.
