47th annual community breakfast set
AMHERST — A breakfast marking the beginning of the school year, and which will outline common goals for and issues facing the University of Massachusetts, the surrounding towns and the local business community, takes place next week.
The 47th annual Community Breakfast will be held Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Student Union Ballroom on the UMass campus. Tony Maroulis, executive director of the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce, said energy is always high at the breakfast and the positive relationships between the entities are discussed.
