Holyoke Community College hosts alumni dinner

HCC DINNER: The registration deadline for the Holyoke Community College 36th Annual Distinguished Alumni Award Dinner and Scholarship benefit has been extended until June 10.

The dinner is Thursday, June 13, at The Log Cabin, 500 Easthampton Road, Holyoke. A social hour will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. with free hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, followed by dinner from 6 to 7 p.m. and tributes from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The dinner, presented by the HCC Alumni Association and the HCC Foundation, will honor Steven G. Richter of Southwick, class of 1975, president and CEO of Microtest Labs in Agawam, and Michael F. Kane of Holyoke, class of 1990, former state representative and current director of government relations for Columbia Gas of Massachusetts.

The dinner is open to the public and is a benefit event. Proceeds will fund scholarships for Holyoke Community College students through the HCC Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. Ticket prices begin at $50 per person; sponsorship tickets range from $65 to $1,000 per person.
