Driver unhurt after vehicle skids on icy Route 9 in Goshen, hits pole
GOSHEN — A vehicle driven by Cassandra Andrews, 25, of North Adams, skidded Saturday on an icy Route 9 and struck a utility pole, said Police Chief Jeffrey Hewes.
Andrews was driving west at 5:55 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle and hit the pole, he said.
Andrews was not injured, her vehicle had to be towed and the pole was damaged, though the accident did not result in a power outage, Hewes said.
