OUTPATIENT CENTER HOURS

Amherst Community Health Center on University Drive now offers evening and weekend hours.

General X-ray is available weekdays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mammography exams are offered weekdays from 7:20 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on the first Monday of each month until 8 p.m. Contact the Amherst Community Health Center at 253-8062 to schedule an exam or walk-in with a referral from a medical provider; referrals are not required for a screening mammogram.

QUESTIONS ABOUT
HEARING AIDS

Ascent Audiology & Hearing will host a free presentation on hearing health and hearing aids Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at their location at 104 Russell St., Hadley.

Participants may bring in hearing aids for a free cleaning and check. A complimentary lunch will be provided. Spaces are limited; call 584-1818 to reserve a spot.

SLEEP HELP PROGRAM

Holyoke Medical Center will present, “Sleep...What is Normal for Your Age?” Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the medical center’s Auxiliary Conference Center. Dr. Sivakumar Padmanabhan will discuss symptoms of common sleep disorders, ways you may be able to help yourself, and when it’s time to see a doctor. Pre-registration is suggested but not necessary. BEREAVEMENT
WRITING GROUP

VNA & Hospice of Cooley-Dickinson will hold an eight-week bereavement writing group called Mourning Pages, held Wednesdays, April 3 to May 29, 5:30 to 8 p.m. in Northampton. The group is free of charge and will be facilitated by Hospice Bereavement Group Facilitator Judy Allen. To register call Patricia Riggs at 582-5320 by March 27.
