Three years ago, Patrick Brough started “Easthampton 01027, The Good News Page,” on Facebook to highlight positive happenings around town. Brough says he figured that 20 to 30 of his friends might follow it. Now, he says, the page has more than 2,700 fans and draws readers from around the country, many with ties to Easthampton. Brough is also the president of the Greater Easthampton Chamber of Commerce.

Last thing you purchased just for fun: I bought a new case for my iPhone that has a spare battery and hope to buy some new camera gear soon
What’s at the top of your bucket list? Go to a Red Sox World Series game with my son. This could take some effort by the Red Sox
Life-changing experience: Meeting my wife and her finally saying she would go out with me. There is no doubt in my mind I would not be where I am today without her love and support
Strangest job you ever held: I worked at the Boston Bakery in Rockville, Conn. I never found out why it was called Boston Bakery, considering it was a small, family-owned business an hour and a half from Boston. I had to crack 50 dozen eggs two days a week and wash all the pots and pans. Found out for sure I was not a morning person

A little-known fact about you: I am not a fan of bugs and I usually sing while walking around in the office
Dumbest thing you ever did: Boy, that could take up a lot of space. I will leave it at that

What really sets you off? Negative people
Best advice you ever got: Sometimes you can accomplish more from behind the scenes
Favorite place to get a bite: Here in Easthampton my favorites are Amy’s Place, Apollo Grill and Riff’s. They all have different qualities, but they all make me feel welcome. For breakfast, it is hands down the Silver Spoon
Favorite team: The Red Sox
What does your ideal weekend look like? It would be with the family. Seeing the sunrise at the top of Mount Washington and then seeing it set on a beach would be awesome
One thing you would change about yourself: I wish I had better teeth
People who knew you in high school thought you were: In high school I flew under the radar. I was not a big dork or a popular kid. Friends I have reconnected with through Facebook seem to say I was a nice guy. I am OK with that
Whom do you most admire? My grandfather. He had an amazing work ethic and was a kind, respected man who lived his life the way he wanted and was not afraid to have fun!
