STANDING BLUE HERON

Stanley Park, Westfield

I was trying to capture an image of a heron in Stanley Park when he flew away. So with my camera and tripod in tow, I followed him when he landed on these rocks. I was on a ledge above him and had to shoot this image through some bushes. This photo was captured with a tripod-mounted DSLR and a telephoto lens.
