∎ A NASA contract for the design and development of a spectrophotometer for astronomical research has been awarded to Kollmorgen Corp. Receipt of the more than $100,000 contract was announced by E.O. Kollmorgen, president.
∎ The annual Christmas party for children and members of the Wolna Polska, ZNP 2567, will be held Sunday, Dec. 16, at White Eagle Hall and not this Sunday as incorrectly reported yesterday. Santa will arrive at 5 p.m. and a buffet supper will be served.

∎ Hampshire County Register of Deeds Stanley Kozera, Mayor David B. Musante Jr., City Council President Raymond W. LaBarge, and William Sullivan of Easthampton, all went to Seabrook, N.H. Saturday to campaign for Gov. Michael S. Dukakis for president.
∎ United Transportation Union lawyers will file a document today denying charges of racketeering, influence and corruption brought against the union last week by the Springfield Terminal Railway Co., UTU General Chairman Michael Maloof said today.
