Perriers celebrate 70th

Alfred and Dorothy Perrier of Easthampton celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Oct. 24 with family and friends at the Easthampton Senior Center.

Alfred Perrier and Dorothy Guyette were married on Oct. 24, 1942, by the Rev. St. Martin in Notre Dame Church in Easthampton.

Alfred was a foreman at National Felt Company in Northampton for 30 years until his retirement.

The couple have two sons, Ronald Perrier of Cape Cod and the late Alfred Perrier. They have eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
