Olberding would preserve registry operations
To the editor:
Our next Register of Deeds must provide leadership for the office and fight for funding and resources to ensure quality public service. The register also must manage finances, a budget and upgrades in technology.
Mary Olberding is a proven manager and leader. She has a master’s degree in human resource management, business management experience in record-keeping and personnel and a finance background. These are many of the necessary skills required to manage and lead the registry in the future. She understands that we can work together to preserve and build the registry for the people of Hampshire County.
She has campaigned in Ward 3 in Northampton, where we live, and all over the county for the past 14 months.
She has worked hard to earn the public’s trust as a Democratic candidate for Register of Deeds. She will work just as hard as your next register. That’s why we are voting for her Tuesday and hope you will, too.
