We share our world with increasing numbers of bears, deer and other wildlife. But doing that in ways that are sustainable, humane and fair isn’t easy. Jan Dizard’s 1994 book, “Going Wild: Hunting, Animal Rights and the Contested Meaning of Nature,” explored controversial issues that are even more timely today. Dizard, of Amherst, talks about our complex relationship with the natural world Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Sunderland Public Library, 20 School St.
