AMHERST - Police are asking residents of North Amherst apartment complexes to be aware of suspicious people and to keep their doors and windows locked following a string of recent break-ins, including one Monday night in which burglars were still inside when the resident returned home.

The Leonard Club will hold its weekly luncheon meeting Thursday at Rahar's Inn. The speaker will be Mrs. Richard Keating, who will discuss "Circle Players and the Community." Mrs. Keating is on the Forbes Library staff and a member of the faculty at Northanmpton Commercial College.
