In an attempt to spice up the football picks for 2012, I'm pitting three media members that cover the Minutemen (myself, Harry Plumer and Matt Goldstein) against three UMass bloggers - Frank Smith, Mark Coogan and Bob McGovern.

We'll keep track of Team Blog vs. Team Media as well as individual records.

Note from here on out Matt Goldstein won't be picking UMass games because of the awkward position he's in calling the games on the radio for the university. To keep the score even between media and bloggers, either my pick or Harry Plumer's for UMass games will count twice
