The Style Stop team caught up with Rashida Krigger, 23, of Colrain one recent morning when she was on her way to work at Salon Herdis in Northampton.
HER STYLE: I like a sophisticated look, but I like to throw in a little funk as well. I like classic — but not too boring.
BELT: I love belts and I wear one more often than not. They give you that whole hourglass look. This one came with the jacket.
SHOES: These have gel insoles and I wear them a lot when I’m working. When I’m not working, I do like to wear heels.
BAG: I have maybe five bags, but this is my only brown one.
HAT: I wear hats to protect my hair, to keep it from drying out — this one’s my favorite. I don’t relax my hair; today I’ve got it in little tiny twists.
MORNING ROUTINE: It depends on how early I get up. Sometimes I’ll try on three or four outfits.
BIGGEST FASHION MISTAKE PEOPLE MAKE: Trying to wear what they see someone else look good in. Everyone has their own body type, their own color wheel.
STYLE ICONS: I really like Emma Watson and Katie Holmes. They just really know what works for them and I admire that.
PARTING SHOT: Even if you don’t think your outfit is great, you should rock it like it is. Once you have that confident look, you’re going to look amazing.
