Photo Gallery: Bloomsday
I was at Smith College taking picture of the all the people who had come to see the blooming Titan Arum at the Lyman Conservatory at the Botanic of Smith College. Blooming which happens about every 3 or so years usually only last about a day. While I was photographing I saw a women bending down low and getting the underneath part of the flower. Beautiful I thought and I know just the place for such a photo. What a perfect gallery. Purchase photo reprints »
I was at the Smith College Botanic Garden in Northampton to take pictures of the people who had come to see the titan arum in bloom at the Lyman Conservatory. It’s something that only happens every three years, and it usually lasts only for a day. While I was photographing I saw a woman bending down low to take a look underneath the flower. What a great idea for a photo, I thought. And I knew just the place for it: right here on this page.
