New York glass artist Scott Pernicka is known for creating small-scale glass pieces with extraordinary visual depth. On Friday he’ll be at the Don Muller Gallery where he’ll be shaping molten borosilicate glass into his signature glass vortexes from 5-7 p.m., in conjunction with the monthly Northampton Arts Night Out. The following day, Saturday, Pernicka will continue his glass-working demonstration in front of the gallery, working from noon-6 p.m. An exhibit of Pernicka’s work will remain on view at the gallery through Aug. 4. Rain date for the artist demonstration is Aug. 4.
