Add another UMass player to the transfer market. UMass sources confirmed a VerbalCommits.com report that Ty Flowers is the latest Minuteman heading out the door.

Flowers, a 6-foot-9 wing from Waterbury, Connecticut, had an up-and-down freshman year, averaging 4.5 points in 13.4 minutes per game.

Springfield native Chris Baldwin said via text that he hasn’t made his final decision on whether he plans to return or not.

Baldwin, a rugged 6-foot-9 forward, averaged 2.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per game.

If Baldwin leaves, the highly touted freshman class that arrived on campus last summer will have just one player remaining – Unique McLean, who redshirted.

COLEMAN TO LIU – Zach Coleman is going to finish his career playing for Derek Kellogg.

Coleman, who elected to become a graduate transfer after the season, announced on Twitter that he’ll follow his coach to Long Island University. Kellogg was hired at LIU last month after being fired by UMass.

Coleman already has his degree so he’ll be eligible to play without sitting out.

The 6-foot-7 Dallas native was a productive player for UMass when he was healthy, but his career was slowed by injuries to his knees and back. He averaged 4.0 points and 4.4 rebounds as a sophomore in 2015-16. He appeared in just 13 games and averaged 0.8 points and 1.5 rebounds last season before having season-ending surgery.

Including Flowers, Coleman was one of six UMass players to announce an intention to transfer after the season. He’s the third one to pick a school.

Seth Berger will play at Oregon State. Zach Lewis will play at Iona. DeJon Jarreau and Brison Gresham, who plan to play together, haven’t picked a school yet. According to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, they’re looking at Oklahoma, Creighton, UConn and Seton Hall.

MILES WILSON LOOKING AT UMASS — If the Minutemen are going to land Mount St. Mary’s transfer Miles Wilson, they’ll have to beat some high-profile schools to do so. The 6-foot-5 freshman guard has offers from N.C. State, Miami and Penn State in addition to UMass.

He averaged 11.8 points and shot 36.2 percent from 3-point range last year. He had 22 points against defending national champion Villanova in the NCAA Tournament. Wilson, a Baltimore native, will sit out the 2017-18 season and has three years of eligibility remaining.
