NORTHAMPTON – The Northampton Democratic City Committee is hosting a meeting March 20th* that will feature state Rep. Peter V. Kocot, D-Northampton.
Kocot is expected to speak about current state legislative issues, including the Safe Communities Act and how the Massachusetts Democratic Party platform relates to his work as a state lawmaker. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the JFK Middle School cafeteria at 100 Bridge St. in Florence.
A presentation on the Democratic Party platform and convention process for the annual Massachusetts Democratic Convention June 3 will follow Kocot’s remarks, according to organizers.
