How sweet to read Larry Hott’s column, “How I got to meet Rosalynn Carter,” [Gazette, Nov. 30] and to recall my time at the Carter Center with him and my brother Robert.

For the screening of the film, Rosalynn sat between between me and Robert, in the front row. Just before the film began, she reached over and took my hand. “I’ve read your book twice,” she said, “and both times it made me cry.”
