The JAM Fund, a Pioneer Valley-based professional cycling development organization, is hosing a fundraising ride Sunday, July 23 at the Cummington Fairgrounds.

Money raised from the ride will go to the non-profit’s development program and providing grants to deserving riders to help them enter the world of professional cycling.

Riders can tackle an 85-mile Adventure Loop, 55-mile Grand Fundo or 29-mile Mini Fundo. The event, which starts and finishes at the fairgrounds, will also feature a six-mile kids ride, dunk take and ice cream truck, among others.

The course will feature fully stocked rest stops where participants can partake in the event’s signature Fluffernutter, peanut butter and blueberry sandwiches. Beer, barbeque and other refreshments will be served after the rides. This year’s grants will also be awarded during the post-race festivities to cyclists who “show a commitment to the sport and to being a better member of society,” according to a release.
