Legislature should do what voters want

After reading your June 20 edition, I cannot believe this state’s lawmakers on the pot laws “Lawmakers eye consensus on pot bill, but differences remain”).

Why don’t they just follow another state’s laws that have already been doing it for a couple of years? If it seems to be working in those states, why does Massachusetts always have to be different? I don’t get it and neither do a lot of people I talk to.

Please do what the voters want for a change.
