LEEDS — Susan Sarandon, the UNICEF goodwill ambassador, activist and award-winning actress, was at Scotti’s Drive-in Thursday to get her lobster fix.

“I think she said she was here visiting family,” said Amanda Ashton, owner of the Leeds restaurant. “Her brother owns Sierra Grille.”

O’Brian Tomalin owns Sierra Grille in Northampton.

Sarandon was at Scotti’s with two of her sisters, Ashton said, and they ordered a lobster salad and two lobster rolls — the first one ordered without lemon or lettuce.

Sarandon has starred in movies including “Thelma and Louise,” “The Client,” “Bull Durham,” “Rocky Horror Picture Show” and “Dead Man Walking,” for which she won an Academy Award for best actress.
