No contests at Monday’s town election in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG — A total of 23 uncontested spots for town positions will be on the ballot at Monday’s town election, when polls will be open for residents to cast their votes from 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the second floor auditorium of the Town Offices on Main Street.

Candidates include:

■Glen Everett, who is seeking reelection for the spot of assessor.

■Donna Gibson, who is seeking three more years on the Board of Health.

■Stephen Turner, a caucus nominee, is on the ballot for a two-year term on the Local School Committee. Two other vacancies on the School Committee, for terms of three years each, have no candidates.

■Kayla Solomon, a caucus nominee, is on the ballot for a one-year term as town moderator.

■Caucus nominees Marjorie Dunphy and Joshua Seamon-Ingalls will seek three-year terms on the Recreation Commission.

■Caucus nominee Lawrence Childs is looking for a three-year term on the Regional School Committee.

■Two seats are open on the Board of Library Trustees, with Charlotte Meryman and Sara Barry on the ballot for those seats.

■Current Select Board member Paul Wetzel is up for reelection to a three-year term.

■Town Clerk Brenda Lessard seeks to be back for three more years.

■Richard Kisloski is seeking reelection to his spot on the Trust Fund/Cemetery Commission. He is also on the ballot for a spot as elector.

■There are four Water/Sewer Commission seats up for grabs — two, three-year positions and two, one-year positions.

Seeking the three-year positions are incumbent Eric Ceretta and caucus nominee Paul Sanderson. Seeking the one-year positions are caucus nominees Donald Lawton and Martin Sullivan.

■Nominees for three spots on the Finance Committee are Melissa Lawrence Zawadzki, Melinda McCall, and David Boughton. There is also a one-year term vacancy on the Finance Committee with no nominee on the ballot.
