Weekend prep school sports: Braeden Heald pulls double duty in Williston football win

Braeden Heald found the end zone on both sides of the all, and the Williston Northampton football team beat Hotchkiss 20-11 on the road Saturday.

He caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from Henri Bourque and scored on a 65-yard interception return.

Christian Anzeveno ran the ball two yards for a Williston (3-3) touchdown, as well.

Boys cross country

Shaler Invitational — Nick Sinofsky finished fifth, Oscar DeFrancis was 12th and the Wildcats finished fifth out of 17 teams at home Saturday.

Boys soccer

Suffield 3, Williston 1 — Wyatt Wegrzyn found the net in a road loss Saturday.

Girls cross country

Shaler Invitational — Abigail Touhey placed sixth in 21 minutes, 24 seconds for Williston, as the Wildcats finished fifth out of 13 teams Saturday.
