Filip Rebraca led five Williston Northampton boys basketball players in double figures with 17, as the Wildcats bested Westminster 83-58 on Wednesday. Garrett Sullivan added 16 while Duncan LeXander had 12, Abood Abuissa had 11 and Josh McGettigan had 10. Northampton native Nick Heafey chipped in with five points.
Girls basketball Williston 50, Miss Porters 36 — The Wildcats were led by a 23-point performance from Sarah Sullivan, while Maddison Fulcher-Melendy chipped in 16 points in a home win.
Boys ice hockey Williston 4, The Albany Academies 3 — Logan Geisness had the game-winning goal and three assists. Power play goals from Kevin Lassman and Brandon McGill. Billy Smith also added a goal. Greg Iverson picked up the win in net.
Girls ice hockey Williston 3, Deerfield Academy 0 — Christina Vote, Gabby Jones and Caroline DiFiore all had goals in the win. Danielle Marquez earned the shutout.
Boys squash Williston 7, Kingswood-Oxford School 0 — Wins from seniors Henry Poehlein of Easthampton, Nithish Raja, Oskar Lee, and Will Lane will send the Wildcats to the NEISA tournament this weekend at .500.
Alpine skiing The Williston-Northampton high school boys skiing team ranked third with 189 total points Wednesday afternoon in the Mt. Institute Ski League. The girls skiing team clocked in fourth place with 152 total points. In the one-run slalom race, Sophie Carellas came in fourth place with a 47.70 points.
