Wednesday’s colleges: Sophie Perekslis notches 100th points for Mount Holyoke field hockey

Sophie Perekslis scored her 100th career point for the Mount Holyoke field hockey team in a 2-0 win over Simmons, Wednesday in Boston.

Perekslis milestone point came on an assist to Mirei Golding-Powers. Perekslis also added a goal for the Lyons (8-4).

Morgan Turner made a save for Mount Holyoke.

Smith College 2, Laselle 1 — Caroline Labriola and Mariah Ollive scored in a home win for the Pioneers (6-6).

Cameo Tietje made two saves.

Men’s soccer

UMass 2, Saint Joseph’s 2 — The Minutemen (8-2-3, 2-0-1 A-10) settled for a tie in Philadelphia.

Jack Fulton tied the game in the 84th minute, assisted by Bardia Asefnia.

UMass benefited Saint Joseph own goal early in the second half.

Asefnia made four saves.

Women’s volleyball

Clark 3, Amherst 1 — The Mammoths (11-7) lost on the road 25-17, 21-25, 25-12, 25-20.

Emily Kolsky had 18 kills for Amherst.
