North Oxford man killed in Ware crash

WARE — A 65-year-old man from North Oxford was killed early Sunday afternoon after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a pickup truck at the intersection on Route 32 at Kingsberry Lane, according to the Northwestern district attorney’s office.

Mary Carey, spokeswoman for the DA’s office, said the crash occurred when the driver of the pickup, traveling north on Route 32/ Palmer Road, attempted to turn left onto Kingsberry Lane, and was hit on the passenger side by the southbound motorcyclist.

Ware police, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Northwestern district attorney's office, State Police Crime Scene Services and State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section responded to the crash.

The incident remains under investigation, and no further information was released Monday.
