United Way of Hampshire County releases RFP for Economic Security Program grants

NORTHAMPTON – The United Way of Hampshire County has released a request for proposals for its Economic Security Program area. The organization’s grant resources are designed to support initiatives that improve financial wellness for people in Hampshire County. 

The three-year funding awards will range from $10,000 to $45,000 per year. The United Way of Hampshire County will invest roughly $900,000 in the program area over the award period and prioritizes its efforts in three areas: youth and their families, health and safety, and economic security. 

Grant applicants will be required to participate in one of two information sessions and to submit an online letter of intent. The information sessions will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017 at 9 a.m. and Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Hadley Farms Meeting House in Hadley.
