UMass alumnus Will Manny is one of 50 men invited to USA Lacrosse’s training camp ahead of the 2023 world championships, the organization announced Thursday.

The camp will take place Sept. 23-25, beginning a key period in determining the 23-man roster for the world championships. Those selected will participate in the USA Lacrosse Fall Classic in Sparks, Md., Oct. 15-17 then have one more training camp before the event in late June and early July of 2023.

Playing for the Archers Lacrosse Club, he currently leads the PLL with 28 points, scoring 15 goals with 13 assists.

The Archers are second in the PLL standings at 4-2 with a game against Atlas Lacrosse Club at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dallas, Texas.

Manny also works as an assistant coach at Utah.

Manny is UMass’ fifth leading scorer all-time with 201 points and 107 goals (seventh).
