Tuesday’s high schools: Belchertown qualifies for girls tennis postseason

The Belchertown girls tennis team qualified for the postseason with a 5-0 win at West Springfield on Tuesday.

Jordyn Paul held off Ally Fontaine 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.

Julia Morgado and Madison Slater needed three sets at No. 1 doubles. They beat Jessica Mosjchuk and Auxana Newell 4-6, 6-2, 6-0.

The Orioles (10-2, 6-0 Pioneer) have won nine straight matches.
