WILLIAMSBURG – Seven candidates have applied to become Williamsburg’s next town administrator.

The candidates are seeking to replace current Williamsburg Town Administrator Charlene Nardi, who is leaving the position in May to take a job as Northampton’s next finance director.

Of these seven candidates, the Town Administrator Search Committee will be presenting three finalists to the Select Board at its Thursday meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.

The finalists will be interviewed by the board on April 26, at a meeting that will begin at 2 p.m. On April 28 the board will have another meeting, starting at 9 a.m., where it will discuss the candidates, with plans to make an offer to one of them.

Nardi has been Williamsburg’s town administrator since 2011.
