As our outdoor dining winds down, I would like to publicly thank the mayor’s office and the City of Northampton for their creativity and flexibility in setting up concrete barriers on Market Street. This design enabled us to serve our customers in a safe space throughout the summer and fall. I would also like extend my gratitude to our neighbors for their understanding and patience as a portion of Market Street was converted into one-way. After a spring of uncertainty, this arrangement gave us a “pep in our step,” and we were able to hire back a vast majority of our staff to their pre-COVID status. A big “thank you” also goes out to our customers for their support and kind words; we look forward to continuing to serve you.
