The "Letters from Inside" award-winning Gazette series was edited by Revan Schendler of the Elm Street Think Tank, which meets inside the Greenfield Jail. The series, which ran in December 2015, consists of letters from seven inmates to readers of the Gazette to challenge common stereotypes about prisoners. Their letters appear below:
