Galen and Reilly Fowles each carded 1-under-par 34s to share medalist honors, as the Northampton golf team beat South Hadley 17½-6½ on Monday at Northampton Country Club.

Galen Fowles prevailed 4-0 over Keegan Earle at No. 2 with a birdie on the Par 4 sixth.

Reilly Fowles bested Ben Gardiner 3½-½ with birdies on the fourth and fifth holes in the No. 2 match.

Northampton’s No. 3 Evan Yurko beat Nick Hartley 3-1. Ben O’Connor won 2-1 over John Viola for the Blue Devils at No. 5, while Jack Carpenter picked up a 3½-½ win over South Hadley’s Boston Kelly at No. 6.

South Hadley’s Bennett Allen defeated Jack Mattison Gulotta 3½-½ at No. 4.

Belchertown 20½, Chicopee Comp 3½ – Orioles No. 2 Riley Breen had a 1-under 35 to pace Belchertown at Cold Spring Country Club. He defeated Nick Farrel 4-0 at No. 2.

Henry Poissant also earned a 4-0 win over James Morgado at No. 6.

Belchertown No. 1 Ryan O’Neil prevailed 3-1 against David Girouard at No. 1.

At No. 4, Ben Anderson beat Mikaela Doronzynski 3½-½. 

Tyler McDonald (No. 3) and Brady Perkons (No. 5) each won 3-1 aagainst Bryce Trumbull and Victor Canaan, respectively.

Amherst 16½, Chicopee 7½ – Amherst’s Piet Hartman and Chase Lashway each shot 37 to share the medalist honors at Amherst Golf Club.

Hartman won 3-1 at No. 2, while Lashway prevailed 4-0 at No. 2.

Ben Oates added a 3-1 victory at No. 3, while Ben Scott won 3-1 at No. 4. Nate Hawkins prevailed 3-1 at No. 5.

Hampshire 18, Palmer 6 – Levi  Zielinski tied for the match medalist spot, firing a 38 for the Raidres. he beat Ethan beachemin 2½-1½ at No. 1

The Raiders won all six positions. 

Nicky Elias Gillette beat Mike Bachand 3-1 at No. 2. At No. 3, Owen Lech bested Billy Partelo 3-1.

Brayden Fennessy had a 3-1 victory at No. 4 over Lily White. Hampshire No. 5 Pryden Messier bested Nick Lafrennie 3-1. Camden Jarosz defeated Luke Kwanewski 3½-½ to close the match at No. 6.

Field hockey

Smith Academy 3, Westfield 3 – Makena Valentine converted a penalty stroke early in the fourth quarter, but the Falcons finished level on the road.

Maisy Dyer found the net in the third quarter.

Bailey McCoy added a goal with 3 minutes, 10 seconds left in the first half from Elena Baranoski.

Hadley Szymal made four saves for Smith Academy.

Amherst 5, Palmer 0 – Caitlin MacDougall put away four goals with an assist, as the Hurricanes won at home.

Maria Konieczny dished out two assists.  Sophie Sweeting also found the net.

Mira Setty-Charity and Jenna Schilling added an assist each.

McKenzie Schreyer saved all three shots she faced.

Belchertown 6, Hampshire 0 — Isabella Cebula netted a hat trick as the Orioles pulled away for a 6-0 victory Monday night in Belchertown.

Abigail Olden added two goals and two assists in the win for the Orioles, while Abigail Canale also tallied and Brooke Stelmokas notched an assist.

Belchertown keeper Eliza Rothstein made two saves to pick up the shutout. Hampshire goalie Olivia Labrie recorded 13 saves.

Girls volleyball

Smith Vocational 3, Duggan 0 – Jaycee Beaulieu passed 11 assists with three aces and two kills, as the Vikings triumphed 25-3, 25-9, 25-15 at home. 

Janel Echiverra fired nine aces, and Jordan Dunham (two assists, two digs) added six. Sarah Paradee added five aces, two assits and two digs. 

Heidelex Cordova contributed seven assists and four aces.

Arianna Santiago had three kills, three aces and two assists.

Holyoke 3, Sci Tech 1 – Jaqueline Jourdain powered down 20 kills with three blocks in a 23-25, 25-13, 25-23, 25-18 victory for the Purple Knights. 

Karyna Gaston Feliciano added a double-double with 24 assists and 10 kills.

Erin Gauthier pulled up 26 digs, while Niurka Rivera had 14.

Frontier 3, Minnechaug 0 – Lilah Evans (seven aces) and Caroline Deane led a balanced Redhawks attack with five kills each in a 25-14, 25-16, 25-11 victory.

Sydney Scanlon had 15 assists.

Brooke Davis pulled up six digs.

Westfield 3, Amherst 0 – Nicole Lambert had nine kills and 11 digs, as the Hurricanes fell 25-14, 25-21, 25-17.

Annabel Ogden distributed 22 assists with three aces and four digs. 

Liza Beigel added eight digs. Audrey Bowen sent back four blocks with five kills.

Commerce 3, Granby 1 – The Rams fell 25-10, 25-14, 17-25, 25-21 on the road.

Mount Greylock 3, Belchertown 0 – The Orioles lost 25-15, 25-9, 25-3 in the Berkshires.
