EASTHAMPTON – A crowd of just under 50 people - the legal limit under current pandemic guidelines - attended the first concert at a new outdoor performance space behind the city municipal building on Saturday afternoon, dividing themselves among the 11 large blue socially distanced polka dots recently painted onto the parking lot. On the bill of the inaugural concert, free thanks to funding from the Easthampton City Arts’ Artist Grants Initiative, were the jazz duo of Shigefumi Tomita and Carl Clements and the traditional Irish folk music trio, New Leaf.
