NORTHAMPTON — A Thursday crash at the intersection of Florence and Westhampton roads resulted in one of the vehicles involved being rolled over.

Police received the call about the accident at 5:20 p.m. and arrived at 5:23 p.m. Police say the crash involved the collision of a tan Subaru Forester and a black Toyota Camry, and that the crash flipped the Forester onto its roof. The crash did not, however, result in either of the roads being shut down, according to Sgt. Brian Letzeisen.

“The road was never shut down,” said Letzeisen, who said that traffic was directed around the accident.

Each vehicle was only carrying its driver, and Letzeisen said that both drivers were transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital, and that neither sustained significant injury.

Letzeisen said that no citations were given and no fault was determined at the crash.
