Police issue alert for Holyoke slaying suspect

HOLYOKE — A suspect in the fatal shooting of a man in Holyoke in December is the subject of a statewide alert from the Massachusetts State Police’s Commonwealth Fusion Center.

Law enforcement agencies are seeking Evdyele Oniel Pabon Flores, 21, of Springfield, in connection with the Dec. 7 slaying of Luis Ramos, 49, of Chicopee in the vicinity of Pine and Sargeant streets.

Pabon Flores is described as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. There is a tattoo on his left forearm that says “As I Walk Through the Val....”

Police believe Pabon Flores is in the Holyoke or Springfield area, and they characterized him as armed and dangerous.
