GRANBY – No one was injured in a vehicle fire that closed a portion of Truby Street Tuesday morning for an hour, according to Police.

Granby police and firefighters were called to the scene just after 7:50 a.m. where they found a Chevy Trailblazer on fire, according to Fire Lt. Michael Pandora.

Pandora said firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly and without problems despite the morning cold.

“Car fires are a lot more exciting to look at, from a bystander stand point,” he said. “They usually go out pretty quick.”

The adult female driver of vehicle was uninjured, according to Pandora.

Both police and fire officials said there was no indication of what caused the fire.
