FLORENCE – Members of the Western Massachusetts Master Gardener Association spread compost throughout the gardens of the Sojourner Truth Memorial Park in Florence on Wednesday with a bountiful supply of material delivered by the Northampton Department of Public Works. The master gardeners have been tending the gardens around the memorial on Pine Street since 2013.
